This has been an eye-opening year for me. On one level, there is pure joy and enlightenment. My music is mystical at the moment. A true tangible talisman of my blood, sweat, and tears (literally). It is the blood pumping through my veins as well as my connection to the world outside my head. (ie. real life) Lately I've felt the only way to convey my thoughts, dreams, hopes, fears and have them feel completely real and valid is though my art/music. This last trip to Europe left me wanting more out of life. In a way I've never felt before. One reason why I haven't written any personal / documentary posts recently is because I've been having the most difficult time finding a way to describe what is going on with me in a medium that doesn't seem too abstract.

The Savage Weekend Fest happened in Chapel Hill, NC on the first weekend in May.
Actually, it all started with a double rainbow on the way there:
So many good friends and intense talent in one room, it was rad to have been a part of it.
